Our approach empowers students to take ownership of their learning by allowing them to choose what, how, and when they learn. Our goal is to additionally equip each individual with the skills and experiences they need to thrive beyond the classroom. To develop this association we emphasise real-world learning by supplementing academic work with practical experiences such as internships, mentorship programs, and other hands-on learning opportunities which align with students’ passions and interests.

A game-changing shift

Unlike many academic institutions, we are committed to providing a dedicated educational resource for neurodiverse children and strongly believe in embracing the full spectrum of human minds. Our approach recognizes that neurological differences, such as dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and more, are natural variations of the human experience, each with its unique strengths and creative perspectives.

Our mission is to establish a supportive and inclusive community where neurodiverse children can thrive, learn, and connect with others who share their experiences. We understand and celebrate the uniqueness of every child and are dedicated to providing valuable insights and resources for parents, specialist professionals, educators, and most importantly, neurodiverse children themselves.

The Design.

Our approach is modern, highly motivational and forward-thinking. At the heart of our academic model is the internationally recognised online teaching platform Kings InterHigh which delivers the core academic curriculum. Further student support is reinforced by in-house AVS staff, academic tutors, and mentors, ensuring that each student receives powerful personalized learning support. An approach which enables flexibility in how, when, and where students engage with the learning process.

The Individual

We harness the potential of both individual and small group learning to provide enhanced support that caters to each student's personality and unique learning style. By understanding how each student best absorbs and engages with various forms of learning we can maximise the prospect of academic success.

Family

We recognize that family members play a crucial role in understanding students' needs and aspirations. We work collaboratively with educators and students, as well as with families, to customise curricula and additional non-academic pursuits. Our approach remains flexible, allowing us to adapt to the unique management and curation of subjects.

Motivations

We pursue passions and interests with rigour, we want to understand how best to drive these essential and often misled forces within our school community. The ability to experiment, and embrace risk also aligns with our approach enabling students to push boundaries and develop beyond the constraints of curriculum or syllabus.

We believe in integrating real-world learning experiences into daily education. Students are immersed in external environments such as business, sports, creative arts, and vocational settings, allowing them to acquire practical skills and prepare for successful outcomes through hands-on experiences supported by potential employers.
